Dr. Lee will readily tell the story of growing up building everything with his hands and being endlessly fascinated by the details and how things work. When deciding on a career in dentistry Daniel Lee was able to bring this affinity for intricate work to the goal of helping people stay healthy

Dr. Daniel Lee

Dr. Lee received his training from Loma Linda University in Southern California graduating in 2002. During his studies he was fortunate to be in a program that gave him an abundance of experience in the full spectrum of procedures. For over a decade now Dr. Lee has led the team at Covington Smiles establishing a practice with avidly loyal patients and a talented dental team.

The perfectionist in Dr. Lee continues to pursue training and coursework so that his offerings stay current with today’s emerging dental care. Many dentists claim to be all this but as colleagues and patients will attest, Dr. Lee’s dedication goes beyond that of career to really caring about each patient’s well being.

Registered Dental Assistant

Erin started pursuing her interest in a dental career after getting an implant herself at Covington Smiles. Completing her dental assisting program in 2021. Erin loves spending time with her family boating and ATVing. She also teaches dance and aerobics.

 

 
 
 

Chelsea

Registered Dental Hygienist

Chelsea became a hygienist because she wanted to be an advocate for patients in their journey to better oral health. Making connections and relationships with patients is her favorite part of her job. By creating relationships and building trust, you can more effectively help patients reach optimal oral health.

 

 
 
 

Katie

Insurance Coordinator

Katie has been in dentistry since 2007. She has helped several dental offices transition from paper to electronic/paperless platforms. Since then, she has learned sterilization techniques and front office duties. Katie enjoys helping patients in all aspects of their dental experience starting from the beginning telephone call to walking out the patient.

 

 
 

Tomo

Schedule Coordinator

Tomo was born and raised in San Francisco, CA and moved to Washington in 2017. In her free time she likes watching movies, relaxing at home and talking to her five sisters. She is fluent in Japanese and loves learning about different cultures. She has been learning Khmer (the Cambodian language), as she is involved in doing volunteer work in the local Cambodian community.

 
 
 
 

Janelle

Registered Dental Hygienist

Janelle is PNW born and raised and has been in dentistry in some aspect since high school. She comes from a long line of dental and medical professionals. As a young adult, she started in the back office sterilizing instruments. Then she moved onto chairside assisting and then on to dental hygiene graduating from Columbia Basin College in 2010. Janelle enjoys CrossFit, Snow Skiing, boating, music, and exploring the beautiful state of Washington.

 

 
 

Letty

Registered Dental Assistant

Letty has been a dental assistant since 2016, where she received her diploma from Emerald School of Dental Assisting. Some of her favorite hobbies include hiking in the summers and painting. She loves learning and trying new things. She enjoys spending time with her fiance, her family and her dog Toby.

 

 
 

Dana

Registered Dental Hygienist

Dana is a Western Washington native and currently lives in Enumclaw with her husband, two daughters, and two cats. She and her family enjoy camping and traveling together. Dana's hobbies include reading, painting/crafting, genealogy, watching the Seahawks, and hanging out with friends. Dana graduated with an AS in Dental Hygiene from Pierce College in 2013. In 2017, she completed her BS in Dental Hygiene with Eastern Washington University. Dana looks forward to building relationships with patients each day she comes to work. She considers herself a lifelong learner to continue personal and professional development.
